A Little Dialogue

My first spread for my illustration book. The only requirement for this spread was that it be black & white and that it at least pulled something from another image (provided by the class). As soon as we were set free to start sketching I instantly came up with this character and the teacher liked her and the smoke lines so I was given the ok to go ahead with it. Right now, of the three I have completed, this one is my favorite!

Also, unknowingly, she sort of came out looking like Audrey Horne from Twin Peaks which I had been watching the week before school started xD
